James Jeuck will help you understand how you can make your maps powerful and useful. He will describe the value maps bring to landowners, give you some great tips and tricks on how to use the My Land Plan mapping tool. Finally, he will present some more complicated projects that might be useful for your woods!
James has been the Vice President of the North Carolina Tree Farm Committee since 2009 and as a Forestry extension associate he assists NC landowners and natural resources professionals through educational programs and outreach activities. His areas of expertise are general forestry and silviculture, forest management planning and forest stewardship, forest soils and hydrology, GPS, computer mapping, and forest herbicides. He is working on his PhD on the socioeconomic factors leading to forestland loss in NC
