Offers downloadable county-level information on threatened and endangered plants, but lists don’t include animal species. Information about rare animal species can be found at I-Map NJ (http://www.state.nj.us/dep/gis/depsplash.htm).

**A fee is charged to compile site-specific species lists and information. 

  

New Jersey Division of Fish & Game (http://www.nj.gov/dep/fgw/index.htm)

Conserves and manages the state’s wildlife and aquatic resources.  Check the State Wildlife Action Plan (http://www.nj.gov/dep/fgw/ensp/waphome.htm) for an overview of key species and habitats of conservation concern throughout the state.
