Florida Natural Areas Inventory (http://www.fnai.org/ )

Features information on state and federal threatened and endangered plants and wildlife, habitats of particular conservation concern, and stewardship actions designed to benefit these important natural resources.

Search their database for county-level information on the distribution and status of threatened and endangered species.  The Biodiversity Matrix Map Server (http://www.fnai.org/biointro.cfm ) provides free access to statewide rare species occurrences. This tool allows you to zoom to a site of interest and create a report listing documented, likely, and potential occurrences of rare species and natural communities. **A fee is charged to compile site-specific species lists and information.

Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (http://myfwc.com/)

Conserves and manages the state’s wildlife and aquatic resources.  Check the State Wildlife Action Plan (http://myfwc.com/conservation/special-initiatives/fwli/action-plan/) for an overview of key species and habitats of conservation concern throughout the state.
