Florida Division of Historical Resources (http://www.flheritage.com/) – provides assistance in identifying and protecting historic properties, archaeological sites, burial places, and other cultural sites in the state.  The Florida Master Site File (http://www.flheritage.com/preservation/sitefile/) is a paper file archive and computer database of recorded historical and cultural resources in Florida.  The database is not available online; however, the public has free access to the information in the Master Site File during weekday work hours.

Florida Public Archaeology Network (http://www.flpublicarchaeology.org/) – provides public outreach and assistance.

State Library and Archives of Florida (http://dlis.dos.state.fl.us/index_researchers.cfm) – identifies, preserves, and makes accessible records (such as census records, military records, family histories, and various county, state and federal records) and other documents that can help you research your special sites. 

Cultural Resource Protection for Private Landowners (http://www.flheritage.com/archaeology/education/culturalmgmt/) – the Florida Division of Historic Resources guide to protecting cultural resources and some best management practices that all landowners can follow.
