Forest landowners wishing to apply restricted use pesticides on their property must be licensed as a Private Pesticide Applicator.

Contact your local parish extension office to find about availability of the study manual, or order it online through this site. The closed-book Private Pesticide Applicator exam is also taken at your local extension office, upon arrangement.  Recertification is required every 3 years and requires a recertification meeting (notification will be provided by your local parish agent.)
