About
The American Tree Farm System is delivered in Michigan by a State Committee and two "independently managed groups." Michigan joined Tree Farm in 1949 and over 40 states now participate in the American Tree Farm System. There are around 1,400 Michigan landowners in the program in 2025 with Tree Farms in almost every county.
