Saving Special Places
Whether your woods are home to an important historic site, or just a meaningful spot where your parents or grandparents spent time, you hold a unique link to the past.
Protecting these special places for the future is part of the ATFS 2010-2015 Standards of Sustainability for Forest Certification. But it doesn’t have to be costly or difficult.
With some information and a little planning, you can preserve a piece of America’s heritage for generations to come.
