Online Inspector Refresher Training

If you are currently a qualified Tree Farm Inspector, you are asked to complete the 2004 Online Inspector Refresher

This online course has been developed to train inspecting foresters in two key areas:

1.  Implementing the 2004 AFF Standards.

2.  Using the revised 004-Form including the accompanying Auditor Verification Form. 

It is a requirement that all Tree Farm Inspectors complete this training prior to conducting Tree Farm inspections after
July 1, 2004.

Important:
The Online Inspector Refresher Training is available only to current ATFS Inspectors.  If you have not completed the Inspector training program in the past, your record will not be updated.  New inspectors must complete a full workshop conducted by a trained ATFS facilitator using the revised training curriculum.  Once you have completed the training, your record will be automatically updated and an Inspector Certificate will be mailed to you. 

Instructions:
The following link will take you to the online refresher training login page; http://www.atfsdatabase.org/training/. 

1) Complete the login information and enter a password of your choice.

2) Begin with Module 1 and then move through Modules 2 and 3.

3) Module 3 contains the final assessment.

4) While taking the final assessment in Module 3, after you have selected the correct answer, click anywhere
on the screen to advance to the next page.  You may notice some pages take longer than others to advance, this is normal.  The next page should load after a few moments.

5) At the end of the final assessment, you have the ability to print your own Certificate of Completion.  This is not required and you will receive an updated Inspector Certificate from the national office, whether you opt
to print the online certificate or not.  It may take some time to receive your Inspector Certificate in the mail.  However, you do not need to wait until you receive the updated certificate to conduct Tree Farm
inspections.  Once you complete this training, your record is updated accordingly.
