Shared Streams in Maine –Boyden Stream

The Boyden Stream project established a conservation education trail on Jim and Sandra Pottle's Tree Farm. It is designed for use as a self guided tour for adults and a guided tour for local students and teachers. Eleven interpretive panels placed along the forest trail help visitors understand the links between forest management and the survival of Maine Atlantic salmon and other aquatic species. Jim Pottle and Steve Ftorek put the finishing touches on the conservation education trail.	Between September 2002 and January 2003 Jim and Sandra Pottle have had over 200 school kids and adults tour the trail.
