Southern Woodland Owners and Conservation Agreements Report

The report is the product of a qualitative research study that the American Forest Foundation conducted in 2009 with family woodland owners in the South to identify best methods for communicating with landowners about working forest conservation easements. Information was gathered through workshops, focus groups and a land trust summit.

The publication offers guidance on effective outreach to landowners about working forest conservation easements. It is intended for distribution to land trusts, foresters, or any other organization or individual that works with forest landowners.
